These beautiful and unique candle holders are consecutive cuts from a log I found while on a walk on a trail near my house one day. The wood is spalted and stained by a natural fungus that creates a unique and bold tonality and texture. The wood's beauty was revealed by removing the bark, sanding all surfaces and then clear coating for the finished product.
