This storage box was made from a live edge piece of red maple and walnut.
The bottom is a single piece of live edge red maple with some bark still on.
The sides are made from walnut.
The box is clear-coated with water-based polyurethane for durable protection.
In this case, we made the box to fit exactly on top of a customer’s existing toolbox.
The idea was to allow them to keep everyday items like keys, wallets etc. in plain view and in one place so they didn’t misplace them.
