In the business, we are in we make a lot of workbenches, mostly for ourselves, but every once in a while we get a request for one.
This bench was fashioned from cedar and pine to create a nice contrast in colour and tone.
The top is made from store-bought laminated 2x3’s to keep within the budget.
There is a sizable mid storage shelf.
There is also an integrated assembly cart that slides into the body of the table for storage when not in use.
The castors are rubber and non-marking as well as lockable.
We made the bench height similar to bar height based on the person intending to work at the bench on a daily basis.
