This table is fashioned using a repurposed, mid-nineteenth-century chair base that we found on the side of the road waiting to go out with the rest of the ‘garbage’. Luckily we were able to save the day.
We sanded the base into a two-tone look and clear coated it for protection.
The top is 4 inches thick giving it a chopping block feel.
Two sides are dressed and a dramatic live edge is left on the other side(s).
The top is made from willow that we felled and harvested with our sawmill right from the AikenKraft property.
