This piece was designed specifically for the movie lover. It has room to store 120 DVD's on its sides, out of view, and plenty more room in the front if you feel like showing off your collection. There are a series of holes in the back of the piece to conveniently feed wires. There's plenty of room for your receiver, Blu-ray and anything else you might have.
The natural pine surfaces are all reclaimed from an estate auction; pine trim that never got used on a custom build that I ripped down and laminated for a simple and clean look. The central part is a combination of maple ply and cedar that was then painted chocolate brown. The cedar was given to me by a neighbor and ex Toronto Argo who's wife was tired of looking at it in their driveway.
All surfaces are treated with a water-based clear coat for a durable surface.
