This all cedar chair is truly one of a kind.
The material was harvested from a local farm that was cutting an irrigation line to connect two fields.
The bark was hand-peeled prior to cutting and assembling all the pieces.
The flat boards were processed using our trusty sawmill.
Traditional round mortise and tenon joinery were used wherever possible.
The chair is extra wide to accommodate a wide variety of body types.
The arms are particularly beautiful and maybe even offer a unique storage option for who knows what?!
