This project was four counter/bar tops in total.
Two smaller tops were dressed and installed in alcoves.
They are ash wood, stained with Goudey walnut stain, and clear coated with water-based polyurethane.
The lower bar top is also ash wood, stained and cleared for a durable finish.
In this case, we worked in conjunction with the cabinet maker to full integrate the bar, including cutouts of the sink, fixtures and an oddly shaped wall.
Just in case you haven’t realized…we make cabinets too!
The live edge upper top is bark on and fashioned from wormy maple.
We thought using a different wood species here really made things pop!
The supports installed under the seating side of the bar allowed for a generous overhang to ensure comfortable seating.
