This hearty and refined table features a beautifully antiqued base with hand-carved details and wavy, flowing lines. I sanded the original top that was coffee stained and hand-painted an elegant, stylized horse head in silhouette. In this case, I left what I could of the original piece given its antique beauty and added a modern flare. This is a good and sturdy table with a nice cross bracing detail in the legs and base.
