Sometimes our customers ask us to build ice rinks for their children.
Since we love hockey so much we always agree to make them.
The boards are made from 2x8 pressure-treated lumber.
They are reinforced with steel connectors and then staked into the ground with 2x4’s that are also pressure treated.
The whole thing gets a plastic lining and then it’s ready for the water.
We have learned over the years that it’s very important to adequately reinforce any low lying areas to avoid a blowout and huge disappointment.
