In this case, the three neighbours all had pets so we added chain link to the fence to prevent escape.
The posts are six-inch cedar and installed below the frost line.
The rails are secured to the posts with spikes and screws to ensure they stay in place over time.
This is a fifty-year fence if installed correctly.
