Oh, how we love natural maple flooring.
Most customers go dark these days with flooring (despite it being so difficult to keep looking clean), but the natural beauty of wood always rings true for us.
This job required the removal of existing tiles in the areas to be completed.
We re-tiled the entryway and then did hardwood in the remaining areas.
We always install wax paper under our flooring to eliminate squeaks when you walk.
It’s also important to use self – levelling cement to build up any low lying areas prior to installing the flooring.
We love the look of the all-maple steps…riser and tread unite!
Getting the transition pieces right is also very important…to minimize wear and trip hazards from room to room.
