This customer owns a rental unit and requested that we spruce up the deck that was in disrepair.
In order to keep costs down, we agreed to re-use what we could and replace what we felt was absolutely necessary.
Providing a staircase with a railing on both sides was important.
Railings and balusters were preplaced where needed.
All connections were screwed together with coated, exterior grade fasteners. It’s hard to believe how many times we see things nailed together than clearly should be screwed together for safety and longevity.
The stairs have a uniform rise and run relationship, including the patio stone landing, so there are no trip hazards present.
