The customer had substantial existing shelves in the room that minimized available space for their office.
So we decided to take advantage of this dead space.
The lower storage cabinets are facing inward to minimize visible clutter.
And yes, the heat register in the floor and outlet also lead to this design consideration.
The countertop is solid Ash and clear coated with durable water-based polyurethane.
