This project came about when the client purchased a new fridge and stove.
Both appliances didn’t fit the existing cabinet configuration.
This is us doing as little as possible in an existing kitchen to meet the practical needs of the customer.
It’s a little bit like surgery for cabinetmakers.
The best cabinetmaker is the one who blurs the line between old and new.
We also replaced all the hinges in the kitchen with modern slow close units and converted from conventional to ball-bearing slides where needed.
The additional storage on the end of the island took advantage of a bar seating overhang that just wasn’t getting used.
