This table is solidly built using traditional mortise and tenon joinery and strengthened with biscuit joinery. The inch and a half ash top have a unique grain that shows real depth in tone. The custom flame paint job makes this piece a one of a kind and a bold expression of your individuality. Edges are rounded over and sanded to perfection for a classic yet modern feel. The material for the top was recovered from a local estate sale where the previous owner had intended these pieces be used for their families grande dining room table... I thought it was only right to honor the idea.
The base is constructed of pine and features tapered legs. The slight proportions of the base give the weight of the top a nice lift.
The table's dimensions lend to a variety of uses. It would make a great kitchen table for four. It could also be a side table in a generous hallway or foyer.
